Hello. I am Louise Gronold, an APP (Accredited Professional Photographer) who is driven to help you flourish by creating personalised images for you, your family and your business. Being camera shy myself, I know how you feel when it's time for your portrait. However, my experience has led me to firmly believe we are all photogenic, we just may not have had the right photographer yet. I would love to hear about you and your passions. Perhaps over tea/coffee and cake?
I have a Bachelor in Agricultural Science, which brought me to western Queensland in 1996 to work for the Queensland Department of Primary Industries. Since then I have worked for local and state governments and been self-employed as a consultant, project manager and grant writer. I was willing to have a go at anything to keep me in this part of the world and contribute to it. My camera has never been far away during this time and in 2010 I registered my business, joined the AIPP and began laying the foundation for a small business whilst our family grew. I am very proud my business has now contributed to capturing western Queensland families, events and landscapes, has helped regional small businesses grow and market to the world, and preserved western Queensland weddings for future generations.
As a customer myself, I value honesty, quality and knowing what I am in for upfront. These are the values I have adopted in my business and why my portrait and wedding collections include everything you want. I don't want to have to ask you to pay more to have an inspiring artwork or heirloom album. I also want to give you flexibility to choose the products you want to best suit your home/office by offering a range of products. Unlike other services where you pay little or nothing upfront then are subject to unreasonably high prices to have a print or canvas, with my collections you receive value, quality and confidence.
I have received a number of awards for various images since 2010. This is from a range of exhibitions and competitions such as the local Barcaldine Art Exhibition which is judged by different professional artists each year, and the Queensland Professional Photography Awards (QPPA).
